Our Mission: Protect and Enhance the historic Hillmoor land and waterway, with the intent it will become a sustainable public and recreational resource, benefiting the community and visitors of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, for this day and all days to come.

The wonders of nature on full display

This is a great time to get out onto the paths at Hillmoor. Listen for the birds and frogs, watch for emerging plants, breath the air. And see some of the biggest rabbits you’ll see in the city.

You can make your own yard have as much interest as the wide open spaces. See our ideas here.

Farewell Friend

Ernie Gygax, Jr.

September 2, 1959 ~ February 28, 2025

Ernie loved Hillmoor almost as much as his beloved Donna. He was adamant about maintaining the space as a place to be close to nature and where one could appreciate the beauty of a quiet walk with his dog.

Donna has requested that you make a donation to the Friends of Hillmoor in honor of the work Ernie started to restore our park to the beauty he remembered from his childhood.
