Our Mission: Protect and Enhance the historic Hillmoor land and waterway, with the intent it will become a sustainable public and recreational resource, benefiting the community and visitors of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, for this day and all days to come.
We are planning lots of work on Hillmoor this summer.
Follow us as we enhance & educate.
Wednesday Walks are back!
Join us at 5:30pm any Wednesday this summer to walk the paths of Hillmoor, look at the nature that is there and discuss what is possible in the future.
We start at the main parking lot on Hwy 50/Main Street.
Length and pace is determined by the group that shows up.
We’ll be at Hillmoor on the second Saturday of the month to clean up the entrance and pathways. Dress for the weather and the work you’d like to do. We have gardening tasks, rubbish pick up, and path clearing. Work gloves and long pant recommended.
Progress with the Avian Committee on the Stream Project
The plants from the grant have arrived! They’ve been planted along the stream edge and are growing, helped by Mother Nature’s glorious sunshine and the dedication of Avian Committee members to bring water to the site.
This was partially possible because of the excavation work provided by the Friends of Hillmoor. If you would like to support our work on this and other projects, pleas use this link to our donation site to help.
Stop by and look at the progress
We’re making it easier to support the Friends. You can use this link. It is located in the “Donate” link in the menu.
The Hillmoor Commission is making great strides in developing a plan for the property. They have a newsletter (monthly or as needed) with updates and information, and a link to a Comment Page where you can voice your opinions, ideas and concerns. This link takes you to the City’s website page dedicated to the Commission.
We’ve been gathering information on how to make your yard a haven for you and the creatures that inhabit our world. See our page on landscape, plant, and natural ideas.

The paths of Hillmoor are a bit rough, but the sites are beautiful.
